What is the Policy on Animal Sales?

The selling of PUPPIES is prohibited and should be flagged off. Please find alternative ways of selling your litters.

Adult dogs that need to be rehomed/rescued are permitted to be posted.

LCYS, ECYS & SYS recognizes the need to charge reasonable adoption fees for dogs to help ensure a good home. Adoption fees of $100 or less are fine, but must be openly stated.

If you list a dog for adoption that is greater than $100 then it will be considered a RETAIL sale and will be flagged by members and removed.

Can I post stud ads?
No. These should be flagged off.

What about other animals besides dogs?

Cats should also not be listed by retail sellers.
Farm animals/livestock are fine and do not have a limit on asking price.
